We are seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer for our direct client with experience in building the integrations services platform with AWS native services using Infrastructure as Code.

Must have experience with File Transfer (AWS Transfer Family, Terraform, Grafana, Python coding and Integration.

Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen

Responsibilities:

• Develop file transfer integration services using AWS Transfer Family. This includes creating application integrations, supporting all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), facilitating customer onboarding, and contributing to product enhancements and production support.
• Develop and maintain integration services using AWS Transfer family using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols.
• Setup AWS Lambda runtimes, Python programming.
• Configure and manage AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, and route53.
• Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Gitlab pipelines.
• Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.
• Designs and implements custom monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Conducts root cause analyses for defects and incidents.
• Provides production support, including participation in an on-call rotation.
• Develops an integration services platform leveraging AWS native services.
• Demonstrates expertise in high-availability, load-balancing, and failover configurations across applications, infrastructure, and platform components.
• Applies team development best practices, including peer review processes and version control systems.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in computer science
• 5+ years of software development experience using Python.
• 2+ years of experience in designing and developing file-based integration services using AWS Transfer Family (Lambda/Python), SNS, Grafana, IBM SFG, Secure Transport.
• 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Gitlab).
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and analytical skills; strong and demonstrated interpersonal skills to include influence, collaboration, accountability, and critical thinking.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway with implementations leveraging both On-Prem servers and AWS EC2's
• Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, Sterling Control Center
