We are teaming up with an innovative startup focused on revolutionizing scientific computing in multiple fields. Their platform offers researchers on-demand, fully managed instances for distributed simulations and data analysis, removing the need for traditional, resource-intensive infrastructures.
The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping both the user experience and technical architecture as one of the first engineering hires. You’ll have the chance to contribute to both the frontend and backend development while helping to build a cutting-edge scientific computing platform.
- Design and implement responsive web apps using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to bring intuitive, seamless user experiences to life.
- Work closely with backend developers to define and integrate APIs for smooth data flow.
- Write clean, scalable code, conduct reviews, and mentor the team with constructive feedback.
- Lead automated testing and support deployment processes for high-quality product releases.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in full stack development, with strong front-end expertise
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Experience using Node.js and Go and database systems like SQL and NoSQL
- Strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills
- Nice to have: Biotechnology background and startup experience
The Benefits:
Competitive base salary of $150,000 - $180,000 + equity. Personal benefits include health, dental, and 401k.
