Job Summary:
The Hardware Engineer is responsible for setting up the hardware environment, identifying and resolving hardware-related issues, and ensuring product delivery timelines are met. This role requires effective communication with customers, internal teams, and vendors to diagnose the root causes of issues and ensure timely product delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and customer support, to address hardware engineering challenges.
- Identify and resolve engineering issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze hardware failures and work with R&D to identify root causes.
- Oversee the transition of products from development to production.
- Provide guidance on troubleshooting and repair strategies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in operating oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
- Skilled in soldering and reworking PCB boards.
- Experienced with reviewing circuit schematics and board layouts using Allegro or similar tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Experience with server, storage, and PC hardware architecture.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development role.
- Hands-on experience with lab debugging tools, such as oscilloscopes, is desirable.
- Experience in circuit board design is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to navigate all areas of the organization’s facilities.
