Job Description

Supports and engineering activities, often involving specialized equipment in a or environment, in the definition, design and development of products.

Key Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, tests, builds, assembles circuits and systems, circuitry, equipment, prototypes by using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies. Working from , diagrams, written and verbal instructions.

• Documents, tests, evaluates, analyzes, verifies development /systems, circuits, prototypes, components by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards. Working from procedures, specifications and/or written and verbal instructions.

• Tracks, troubleshoots development effort. set-ups, circuit or device problems by creating and maintaining records in the approved tracking management tool through understanding, utilization of documentation and problem-solving practices.

• Documents, solves and evaluation results problems through detailed use of lab notebooks, completion of reports, and other organized means. Includes results and set-up procedures, etc. by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions.

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product by maintaining compliance to the Policy and all other documented processes and procedures.

For those individuals that supervise others, the following statements are applicable:

• Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure System compliance and adherence to the BSC Policy.

• Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Policy and System.

Qualifications

AA Degree preferred -or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 2 - 3 years of related experience.
