Infinitek Group is partnering with a leading company in the Industrial Manufacturing sector to find a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join their team. This role will involve designing, specifying, and developing comprehensive technical solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background coupled with excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create detailed system proposals that meet both client requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities of Application Engineer:

• Collaborate with clients and sales engineers to gather and analyze project requirements.
• Develop detailed flow diagrams and system layouts for industrial applications.
• Design and size system components, ensuring equipment specifications are met.
• Analyze customer data and process requirements to optimize system designs.
• Create detailed system proposals using company estimating tools.
• Coordinate with sub-vendors and internal teams to gather equipment pricing and specifications.
• Estimate system costs, including electrical controls, installation, freight, and start-up expenses.
• Prepare and present technical proposals to clients and leadership.
• Support project kick-off meetings and assist project managers with budget planning.
• Engage in technical discussions with clients to help close sales opportunities.

Experience & Skills to be a Application Engineer:

• Strong technical aptitude with problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Experience in technical proposal development.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and equipment applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational/Training/Residency Requirements:

• BS in Engineering is strongly recommended.
• Alternatively, 1+ years of experience in industrial equipment applications or technical proposal development.
• All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
