Capstone Search Advisors is currently searching for a Chemical Engineer to lead and supervise a laboratory team for a manufacturing client.

Our client is hiring for a Laboratory Supervisor (prior supervisory experience not required) will oversee a small team of technicians and lead/manage the daily planning, preparation, and control of coating and plating operations.

In this role you will also collaborate with Technical Support, Manufacturing, R&D on coating technology, improvements, etc.

Location : Mentor Ohio

Hours: 7:00am - 4:30pm

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000

Full time, direct employment, PTO, 401k w/match, full benefits

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain housekeeping and equipment on a regular basis.

Audit coating recipes

Participate in investigations and corrective actions

Perform calculations for coating adjustments (changes in concentration, dilution, corrections, testing conditions)

Develop, lead and accomplish improvement activities for the coating lab.

Education :

BS in Chemical Engineering
