LaSalle Network has a great direct hire opportunity for a Civil Project Engineer located in Chicago, IL. The growing company has continuing to expand with larger growth opportunities. This position does require you have a P.E. license.
Civil Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Manage Civil Design projects from inception to completion
• Provide mentoring in key management qualities such as knowledge of contracts, schedule and cost management.
• Make technical decisions based on industry code interpretation as well as client and industry standard practices
• Interpret and understand project controls including scheduling, budgeting, cost control, QA/QC, risk analysis and document control.
• Work within a project team environment and coordinate work with other project disciplines
• Deliver complete, accurate, and coordinated project design assignments within time and budget parameters
• Work independently, but also in a team environment
• Effectively communicate design options to a diverse group

Civil Project Engineer Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• Illinois P.E. License is required
• At least 10 years of relevant Civil Design experience, including managing projects
• AutoCAD and MicroStation proficiency
• Experience with Phase I and II projects
• Must have leadership experience
