Hepaco , a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves driving and performing essential non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up, utilizing vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cusco's, guzzlers, and roll-offs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Your health and safety are our priority; comply with safe work practices and act accordingly.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team-based environment.
• Operate a diverse fleet of Class A trucks.
• Handle loading and unloading responsibilities.
• Engage in manual labor on-site to fulfill customer needs.
• Ensure vehicles are properly placarded to meet company and DOT standards.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Comply with regulatory requirements at all levels.
• Safely operate vehicles following U.S. DOT and other applicable regulations.
• Adhere to corporate operating guidelines and company environmental health safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
• Involved in site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Ability to use various mobile devices effectively.
• Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical as required for the position.
• Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard regarding facial hair standards.
• Prior commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Previous experience with hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Experience with manual labor is essential.
