Clean Harbors is looking for a dedicated Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team! You will operate various heavy and light-duty trucks and equipment at customer sites, with key responsibilities including driving vacuum trucks, guzzlers, and roll-offs. Your role will involve undertaking both driving and hands-on tasks as part of our commitment to hazardous waste clean-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety by following best practices and safe work policies.
• Operate commercial trucks and assist colleagues as needed.
• Handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently.
• Perform manual labor to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure vehicles are properly placarded according to Company and DOT regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and reports.
• Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Observe corporate guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols.
• Be available for on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule.
• Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and safe handling of hazardous materials.

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid Class A CDL.
• Able to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Capability to use various mobile devices effectively.
• Physical ability to fulfill job requirements.
• Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet facial hair standards as per OSHA regulations for respiratory protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior commercial driving experience.
• Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Experience handling hazardous materials.
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation.
• Previous manual labor experience.
