OverviewnnThe Taxi Starter provides exceptional customer service to the traveling public by answering questions, directing passengers and customers to the area of the airport they are seeking and directing passengers to available ground transportation options. Also required to become knowledgeable of basic airport operations including but not limited to airport taxi operations. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABMnn2024 Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM ( DutiesnnDirects passengers to available taxis; occasionally assisting with luggage.nnMonitors taxi lines and interacts with taxi drivers to ensure a positive customer experience.nnDistributes Taxi Information Brochures.nnMonitors and assist with TNC traffic.nnRecords and prepares written taxi incident reports.nnEscalates any queries and concerns from the traveling public to supervisor or team lead.nnAdheres to and enforces department policies and ordinances relating to commercial vehicle operations at MSP.nnMaintains working knowledge of MAC Automated Vehicle Identification Software (MAVIS).nnMaintains current knowledge of the terminal campus and commercial vehicle roadway system.nnMonitors commercial vehicle roadways; responds to safety concerns and reports needed repairs.nnMinimum RequirementsnnMinimum High School Diploma or GEDnnOne year of customer service experience and the ability to respond to customers in a professional manner.nnExcellent written and verbal communication skills; articulates information in a concise and timely manner.nnWilling and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.nnAble to work independently with minimal supervision.nnMust be able to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.nnAvailable to work weekends, holidays, days, evenings, and nights.nnPreferred RequirementsnnExperience working at MSP airport and familiar with the terminal campus.nnExperience providing customer service in a culturally diverse environment.nnExperience using Microsoft Office Suites and Dispatcher software.nnExperience enforcing policies and/or ordinances.nnREQNUMBER: 105181nnAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
