OverviewnnThe Shuttle Driver drives passengers to and from assigned locations.nnPay rate: $23nnThe pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM 2024 Employee Benefits ( | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)nnBasic Qualifications:nn• Must be 21 years of age or oldernn• No experience required and on the job training providednn• No high school diploma, GED or college degree requirednn• This role may require a CDL with a specific class and endorsement requirementnnPreferred Qualifications:nn• One (1) year of prior work experience as passenger shuttle driver is preferrednnResponsibilities:nn• Transport, load and unload passengers, providing daily transportation services at designated pick-up and drop-off locationsnn• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e• wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)nn• Help passengers to load and unload luggage as needednn• Inspect vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; perform routine cleaning and bus maintenance activitiesnn• Meet patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lotsnn• Inspect shuttle for preexisting damage record information using electronic device or manual ticketnn• Provide excellent customer service to guests; respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner, give directions to nearest highway, destination, etc.nn• Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plan and coordinates bus evacuation activities as appropriatenn• Immediately reports any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Leadnn• Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment and fuel use logsnn• Maintain a clean work environment, disinfecting shuttle after each usenn• Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standardsnnA good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.nnMilitary and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to applynnREQNUMBER: 101126nnAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
