We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at a world-class, luxury hotel located in Midtown Manhattan. This role is an opportunity to be part of a renowned property that redefines sophistication and elegance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a team of 40+ employees in the restaurant and bar areas.
  • Conduct employee training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while maintaining compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and staff scheduling to ensure seamless operations.
  • Promote staff morale and ensure the organization of employee documentation.
  • Monitor and manage department costs, including food, beverage, and labor, within budgetary guidelines.
  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Address guest complaints, resolve issues promptly, and uphold the highest standards of service.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of Food & Beverage management experience in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven technical expertise in Food & Beverage operations or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience managing employees in a unionized environment (Local 6 preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong service ethic.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff and guests.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to execute plans effectively in a dynamic environment.
