The pay listed above is encompassing of a total range, final compensation offered will be dependent upon several factors to include but not limited to years of experience and education within the position and industry.

Scope of Work:

An integration specialist provides application/control systems troubleshooting for systems and PLC Programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide application/control systems troubleshooting for systems of varying complexity.
  • PLC Programming (all manufacturers).
  • Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions for failed legacy systems.
  • Modify program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems.
  • Develop proficiency in several programming languages and control device networks for PLCs, PCs, or DCS systems.
  • Identify and resolve the system issues.
  • Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the sequence of operations requirements and changes.
  • Work with other project team members as needed to successfully share programming responsibilities as required.
  • Candidate must possess strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Evaluating the results of the integration projects and preparing reports for the same
  • Consistently produces quality products and service.
  • Completes all training within required timeline.
  • Performs all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • HVAC control and troubleshooting experience.
  • PLC Programming experience.
  • Certified Niagara AX/N4 status within first year of employment
  • Certified Security+ within two years of employment
  • Must have excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Must also be in touch with the current technologies and have a sound knowledge of the same.
  • Experience successfully interacting and working with customers at multiple levels of responsibility.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
    Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Individual must have excellent communications skills.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a high-volume office area and interface in a positive manner with co-workers and the customer.
  • Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management.
  • Accurately maintains and updates records to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
  • Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
  • Must be able to perform duties with exposure to loud noises, mixed temperatures, and heavy machinery.
  • Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, bending, crawling, reaching, and balancing. Physically fit to frequently bend, stoop, and lift in awkward positions and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the customer's mission requirements, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
