A happy Guest is good for us and it is great for our partners.nnThe Position:nnThe Accounting Clerk will report directly to the General Manager.nnJob Responsibilities:nnAnswering general office telephones, provide customer service and office supportnnAccounts Receivable: receipt and posting of payments; make bank depositsnnAccounts Payable: matching invoices to POS; invoice entry; vendor file maintenancennCash Handling: high level of daily cash deposits during the seasonnnMust be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial recordsnnEnsuring that all accounting and operational accounting functions are being performed in the most effective and efficient fashion, while conforming to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company.nnAssisting in the processes which ensure accurate, timely financial statements for the location.nnCreating daily, weekly and monthly journal entries.nnCreating and reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly receivables while proactively reducing outstanding collectibles.nnPerforming and reviewing bank cash and credit reconciliations with the ability to resolve variances.nnWorking with various departments to meet reporting needs.nnUnderstand, execute and enforce applicable Sarbanes-Oxley standards.nnProviding audit support for all financial and operational activities.nnMonitor the administration of appropriate controlsnnAssists other departments and perform other duties as assigned.nnEducation:nnAssociate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, preferrednnExperience:nnOne to three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations and/or cash management. (Food service environment preferred).nnSkills:nnMath, accuracy in counting money & making change, organizational, quick addition, good communications.nnFast learner.nnExperience in Microsoft Professional Office.nnOrganized work behavior ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed.nnPersonable, can handle typical stress from deadlines, etc.nnRecord keeping skills.nnCommunication skills.nnDetail Oriented.nnAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships.nnAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.nnAbility to meet stringent deadlines, prioritizes work, and operates in a fast-paced environment.nnCompensation: $24/hrnnThis position is Part Time Seasonal and may require you to work events/nights/weekends and holidays.Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.Legends is an Equal Opportunity employer.
