  • BLS
  • ARRT
  • Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
    Job Details
  • Holiday coverage is required
  • Level 1 trauma and Siemen's experience is required
  • Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol
  • Explains exam to patient considering physical and emotional needs; maintains ethical standards
  • Delivers patient care under scope of license/training
  • Oversees and instructs various personnel and technology students within the department
  • Prepares the equipment room and supplies necessary for each patient and regular daily use
  • Participates in research programs, quality assurance and quality improvement projects
  • Rotates within department, divisions and all off-site clinics by shifts as required
  • Uses independent judgment and initiative under pressure when performing patient exams
    Job Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology
  • Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred
  • At least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses
    Schedule Information
  • Shift coverage and overtime situations as necessary
  • Requires on-call coverage
  • Flexible in all shift coverage
    Additional Details
  • Staff will be required to float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with BWH as needed
