Physical Therapist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide professional, patient-centered care and help patients achieve optimal physical functioning. The Physical Therapist will participate in developing clinical programs, assess and treat patients, and work with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist:

• Provide Physical Therapy services in accordance with physician’s orders and accepted professional practices.
• Perform assessments and evaluations to determine the functional level of patients and develop a personalized therapy plan.
• Develop a comprehensive therapy plan, including short- and long-term goals, medical diagnosis, and treatment interventions.
• Utilize standardized assessments to validate the need for skilled therapy services and track patient progress.
• Document patient observations, responses to treatment, and changes in condition in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete all billing for services on the same day, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Meet facility productivity expectations as directed by the Rehabilitation Manager.
• Communicate and educate patients, families, and caregivers about the therapy program and progress.

Qualifications for a Physical Therapist:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Licensed in the State of MA (or willing to obtain)
