HIRING a Patient Financial Counselor in Portland, OR!

Schedule: M-F 8-4:30 PM, occasional weekend day once/month

Pay: Between $22-$26.50/hr depending on experience & qualifications

Day to day:

• Responsible for accurate verification on insurance benefits and documents patient benefits with payers
• Authorizations
• Identify possible copays for patients
• Coordinates payment for all services required according to payer specifications
• Maintains home health documentation of write-offs as appropriate
• Problem solves insurance errors and researches insurances requirements
• Ensures patient benefits are accurate in EMR
• Answering patient benefit questions

Contract Duration:

This is a contract to hire opportunity, & the contract duration before being eligible to convert permanently with the client is 5 months. The goal of this assignment is for you to find a long term home!
