Job Title : Board-Certified Endocrinologist

Location : FE Medical Center of Miami

Employment Type : Full-Time, On-Site

Salary : $200-$250 an hour


Job Summary :

FE Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Endocrinologist  to join our team. This on-site position involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, hormonal imbalances, and metabolic issues. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care and develop individualized treatment plans.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care :
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations focused on endocrine disorders.
  • Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with conditions such as diabetes, thyroid and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone diseases, and hormonal imbalances.
  • Create tailored treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Procedural Expertise :
  • Conduct and interpret specialized tests, such as hormone tests, imaging studies, and biopsies when necessary.
  • Work closely with lab and diagnostic teams to ensure accurate results and proper follow-up care.
  • Collaboration and Coordination :
  • Coordinate with primary care physicians and specialists in other disciplines to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and planning to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Patient Education and Counseling :
  • Educate patients and their families on endocrine conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to manage or prevent chronic diseases.
  • Provide counseling on preventive care, nutrition, and treatment adherence.
  • Documentation and Compliance :
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
  • Document all interactions, treatment plans, and test results for continuity of care and compliance.
  • Continuing Medical Education :
  • Stay updated on the latest research, treatments, and protocols in endocrinology.
  • Participate in relevant workshops, seminars, and professional development to provide state-of-the-art care.


Qualifications :

  • Education : MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Certification : Board certification in Endocrinology.
  • License : Valid and active medical license to practice in Florida
  • Experience :
  • Demonstrated experience in endocrinology, with a focus on diagnosing and treating complex endocrine disorders.
  • Proficiency in interpreting lab results and managing chronic conditions like diabetes.
  • Skills :
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.


Job Type: Contract


Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per hour
