The Assistant Clinical Director/PA must be able to perform all the required duties of a provider, but will additionally oversee and manage the Providers and Clinical staff at their designated office.
Duties:
- Oversees all treatment of patients in their office
- Responsible to thoroughly review and scrub the schedule to identify potential surgical candidates as well communicate information via email to the Practice Manager, Surgery Team, Area Manager, Dr Barbour, and Dr Linville.
- Serves as primary resource for newer or less experienced providers as needed
- Escalate to higher level staff as needed
- Oversees daily performance via metrics and ensures that clinical staff meet expectations and address staff issues as needed
- Escalate to higher level staff if not appropriately meeting set expectations
- Observe and review staff performance and work product (notes and treatment plans) ensuring adherence to BOSM standards.
Job Requirements:
- An organized and experienced PA-C, NP, or OPA-C.
- Advanced level knowledge as it relates to surgical procedure, post op timelines, and BOSM treatment protocol.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Next Gen O365, Power BI and other EHR systems.
- Ability to manage multiple Providers and Clinical Staff at their respective office
- Ability to effectively deliver clear and concise communication
- Ability to excel as a team player on a daily basis & foster positive relationships between all departments and team members
- Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter
- At least 2 years clinical experience in Orthopaedics.
Education Requirements:
- Degree Required
- Graduated from a master’s program as a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or NATA certified Athletic Trainer with Orthopaedic Physician Assistant certification
- Certifications Required
- Must be certified as a physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or orthopaedic physician assistant.
- Must maintain licensure in the state of Georgia
