Seeking a Certified Addiction Counselor to join a treatment center located in the Baltimore, MD area! This role is set for a five month contract with the potential to role permanent.

SCHEDULE :

• Monday - Friday, 5am to 12pm.

RESPONSIBILITES:

? Carries a client caseload as assigned. Responsible for determining the client's strengths/weaknesses and needs to assist clients in developing a treatment plan within 7 days of admission.

? Monitors and documents assigned client's progress toward the treatment plan at

? least every 90 days using the treatment plan review and presenting it to the Clinical Supervisor for his/her review and signature.

? Provides alcohol and drug education in counseling sessions.

? Responsible for time management skills

? Responsible for discharging/transferring clients according to regulation

? Must keep client records up to date including transition planning

? Responsible for ensuring that assigned clients are given random urinalysis according to State and Federal guidelines.

? Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.

? Provide crisis interventions as needed applicable with laws and direction of clinical supervisor

? Responsible for client confidentiality as regulated by Federal guidelines.

? Conduct Intake Assessments with required documentation

? Attend weekly supervision meetings and any other supervision that is required

? Maintain at least monthly case notes regarding treatment, urinalysis and interventions utilized

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Certification in Addiction Counseling obtained
