Title: Radiology Technologist

Duration: 3 Months / 13 weeks (Possibilities of Extension)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 03:00PM – 11:30PM

Job Description:

• At the direction of a radiologist or other providers prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment.
• Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
• Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives.
• Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patient’s visitors and staff.
• Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas, as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in relevant unit / field preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications and Licenses:

• ARRT - RT (R)
• BLS (AHA)
• State of WI license as a Radiographer
