Seeking an ACSW, AMFT, LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide mental health counseling to families and individuals, focusing on improving relationships and resolving conflicts. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children and adolescents.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis management support to families in distress, ensuring immediate safety and emotional support.
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, or behavioral concerns.
- Engage in addiction counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders, offering strategies for recovery and coping.
- Implement behavior management strategies to assist families in developing healthier communication patterns.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress and treatment effectiveness, adjusting approaches as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and patient outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Therapy (Individual and Group)
- Provide treatment modalities, including individual, family, and/or group therapy, to HIV-positive individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Assessments
- Assist in assessing individual needs and maintaining specific goals and objectives.
Crisis Intervention
- Ensure client and staff safety as the primary priority during crisis intervention.
- Deliver evidence-based and direct clinical psychological interventions.
- Support clients in achieving their goals and addressing their needs.
Resources, Education & Training
- Offer effective community consultation and recommended approaches related to mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Provide clients with access to resources, education, and training.
- Participate in grant-required continued education conferences and training sessions.
Implementation of Treatments
- Implement services, treatments, and care plans tailored to each client.
- For unlicensed staff, ensure implementation is conducted under appropriate supervision.
