Salary Range: $65k-75k/hour (DOE)

Description:
• Responsible for purchases of non-ferrous scrap metal from recyclers(industrial accounts).
• Develops the growth of business activities and profit with assigned accounts and in assigned territories(mainly west coast, such as California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Texas etc).
• Investigates new potential sources of non-ferrous scrap.
• Purchases scrap metal materials in accordance with current market conditions based on pricing standards established by Company guidelines
• Owns internal and external customer service relating to non-ferrous business
• Visits customers on a regular basis and maintain systemic data to record account history
• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals
• Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a deal, resulting in the taking of market share from competitors
• Responsible for meeting or exceeding buying/sourcing quotas
• Participates in a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, direct mail, email & networking
• Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed
• Maintains accurate records of all buying/sourcing and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-up activities
• Travel could be at 3 – 4 days a week.
Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal skills required
• Strong oral and written communication skills required(English and Japanese)
• Sense of teamwork as well as independent initiative required
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
• Proficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel required.
• Contract negotiation experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelors degree preferred
