Job Opportunity: Outside Sales Representative


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing sales of code-required annual service contracts by building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. This role involves selling essential services that are mandated by local and state governments, making it a critical part of our business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and actively pursue sales leads and prospective clients, guiding them through the sales pipeline from qualification to closing stages.
  • Conduct outbound cold calling and email outreach to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and respond to client information requests.
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to maintain and grow the business.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to identify potential leads and engage with current customers meaningfully.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Generate and submit detailed sales reports to management.
  • Regularly communicate with both current and potential customers to provide solutions, addressing their needs, and managing all sales activities within your assigned territory.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and values to ensure a consistent and professional representation of the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales activities.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the construction or facility services field.
  • Proven experience in outside sales.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
