Job Description

Our Client is looking for a M&A Business Development Associate in the Alpharetta, Atlanta area. The M&A and Business Development Associate will play a key role in supporting the execution of the platform's add-on growth strategy. This individual will assist the Business Development team leaders in building a strong pipeline of affiliation targets, conducting financial and operational analysis, creating models, and supporting transaction due diligence. Additionally, the Associate will contribute to the post-close integration of new affiliations and support organic growth initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of the platform’s add-on affiliation transactions.
  • Lead and conduct deal-related analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence review.
  • Oversee financial due diligence and assist the executive team during deal structuring and negotiations for platform affiliations; collaborate with legal counsel and interact with lenders as needed.
  • Develop detailed investment memorandums and present affiliation investment rationale to senior management.
  • Help track and manage a robust pipeline of affiliation targets, leveraging personal networking and relationships with the executive team, physicians, and other intermediaries.
  • Create scorecards to evaluate add-on opportunities and summarize findings for the executive team in a clear, concise manner.
  • Assist in executing targeted organic business development initiatives.
  • Work closely with the executive management team to create presentation materials for quarterly meetings with the platform’s Board of Directors.
  • Provide leadership in additional value-added activities, supporting operational and departmental excellence.
  • Uphold honest and ethical conduct at all times.


Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Valuation, Investment Banking, or Accounting.
  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to the deal process, from initial opportunity screening through to transaction closure.
  • Ability to thrive in an autonomous, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced environment.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient in financial reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects effectively and with a sense of urgency.
