Commercial Fencing Estimator

North Florida

Join an established specialty commercial construction company in Northern Florida as their next Commercial Fencing Estimator. We are looking for a customer-focused estimator who is ready to grow with the business. As their next estimator you will review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate quotes from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and related documents
• Create precise takeoffs with construction takeoff software
• Ensure all estimates are accurate and submitted in a timely manner
• Travel to work sites from time to time for project evaluation
• Communicate with general and/or prime contractors to help secure a winning bid

Requirements

• 4+ years’ of prior estimating experience
• Excellent customer relationship management skills
• Experience estimating commercial/industrial fence projects
