Architect - Florida Licensed

Tampa, Florida

Well-established Tampa Architectural firm seeks to hire a Florida licensed Architect to help support growing workload. Our work involves providing forensic analysis of buidling condition or failure so some knowledge of zoning or code or construction techniques would be helpful, but not required. Work extends across Florida, with limited requirement for overnight travel. While most work is conducted at your desk, when managing a project you have the opportunity to lead and inspect work in the field. This position provides a very broad and lucrative path of career development. Excellent compensation including equity opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality renovations and restorations
• Conduct pre-bid meetings and perform construction monitoring
• Perform building analysis, testing and prepare reports and designs

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years as a Florida-licensed Architect
• Experience in new construction and renovation work that includes building envelope restoration and roof replacement of steep and low-slope roofing systems
• High-level understanding of Florida building codes, and construction techniques concerning commercial and industrial roofs and building envelopes (wall systems)
• AUTOCAD 2D design experience preferred
