PAM Transport is looking to add a Terminal Manager to our Fort Wayne team!

Terminal Managers are the primary source of leadership and excellence for the company in the field. In this position you will direct and coordinate activities of terminal employees to provide cost effective, timely, quality service to customers.

Overview of Primary Responsibilities

• Provide decisive leadership by attracting talented team additions
• Develop the team to provide accomplishment based opportunities as well as a career path
• Manage team expectations with formal weekly progress meetings to review performance towards expectations
• Challenge your team to plan for deficiencies
• Push your team to be active thinkers
• Create reports on results v. expectations in weekly meetings
• Create culture development by setting high standards for unrelenting support for your drivers
• Use your terminal to act as a "home base" for your drivers
• Encourage your driver managers to know their drivers welcome interaction with them
• Work with the Shop to ensure trucks are clean, safe and mechanically sound
• Make sure daily computer inventory is reconciled to physical inventory by knowing what equipment is on the yard and how long it has been there
• Utilize yard maintenance personnel to keep the yard well maintained and CTPAT compliant
• Be familiar with CTPAT obligations and ensure yard can always pass audit and is effective in application of CTPAT obligation
