Survey Party Chief

We are looking for a Survey Party Chief to join our team. You will manage a team of 9 field operations technicians, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.

What you can expect

• Supervise and coordinate surveying field activities (e.g., staking, surveying, soil testing, drilling).
• Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with project specs and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress and address issues impacting timelines or quality.
• Enforce quality control procedures for accurate and reliable data collection.
• Conduct regular inspections of field operations.
• Review field reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and repairs.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate field staff.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations.

What we are looking for

• 4+ years of experience in survey field operations.
• 1+ years of experience leading or managing a team of field techs.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in geotechnical data analysis software.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
