Principal Architect

We are seeking a Principal Architect to join an enterprise scale portfolio of global companies investing heavily in ML and Data projects.

You would join a centralized team tasked with supporting the enterprise-wide data and ML platform, focusing on advising on best-practice architectural patterns. The role involves balancing the specific needs of various data analytics and ML use cases with overarching enterprise architecture principles to design and enhance the platform.

This position offers a high level of autonomy, requiring you to engage with stakeholders, provide expert insights on projects, technologies, and tools, and contribute to driving the organization’s vision to create meaningful impact.

The team are regularly using Data processing tooling such as Databricks while working in a fully cloud-based (AWS and Azure) containerized (Kubernetes) environment and are helping the entire group shift onto an even more modern stack.

Please apply if you have:

• Extensive experience with Databricks or equivalent technology
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented principles and Micro Services Architecture ideally with a Software Development background
• Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and implementing software applications in AWS or Azure

Location: Houston

Work Method: Hybrid (4 days per week in 1 remote)
