Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Data Engineer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of experience in AWS, Core Java, and Apache Spark.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using Core Java to ensure high performance and responsiveness
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage geospatial applications in a cloud environment
• Implement data processing pipelines using Apache Spark to handle large-scale data efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for projects.
• Design and develop data models to support various applications and services.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications and data processing.
• Optimize algorithms for better performance and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in development and cloud computing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers in the team.
• Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards in all applications.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Contribute to the documentation of applications and data processing workflows.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Core Java development.
• Proficiency in AWS services for deploying and managing applications.
• Expertise in Apache Spark for data processing.
• Knowledge of data models and algorithms
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
