Job Summary

The Dynamix Sales Support team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales teams in the day-to-day management of customer accounts and vendor relationships. The team learns about existing and new vendors as they are added to our portfolio to provide the highest level of satisfaction to both the internal sales teams and the customer.


In this entry-level role, the Sales Assistant I works closely with more experienced Sales Assistants to develop their skills and contribute effectively to the team. Sales Assistants are responsible for managing a designated customer territory, building and executing sales opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate quoting, and upholding company standards to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Upon successful completion of the training period (typically 6-12 months), team members will be eligible for a wage increase.


Location

While this job is fully remote, candidates must live within the Southeast US.


Salary

The salary range for this role is $40,000 - $70,000 and is comprised of base salary in addition to incentive pay. Salary is subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company and will be based on experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate quotes and manages orders to ensure timely processing.
  • Address and resolve issues related to vendors, including discrepancies in pricing, shipping delays, and product availability, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Dynamix Group professionally in daily interactions with business partners and customers, both in-person and virtually.
  • Attend Dynamix events or visit customer sites as required to support business activities.
  • Manage daily tasks and priorities based on account and portfolio requirements.
  • Effectively utilize Vendor pricing and contracting tools.
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, other Support teams and administration to submit orders, register deals, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Acquire and apply basic knowledge of Dynamix hardware, software and support offerings.
  • Use relevant computer system applications with the willingness to learn new technologies and apply them for increased efficiency.
  • Assist the assigned sales team by researching, coordinating calls, problem solving, etc.

  • Skilled in MS Office (Excel /Word/Outlook), Adobe, and AI.
  • Intermediate Excel skills for analysis and quote preparation required.
  • Familiar with Webex/Zoom for virtual meetings and team interaction.
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, to ensure accurate quotes and order processing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain credibility with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Effective in analyzing situations and developing solutions, including vendor issues and executive support tasks.
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changes in duties and responsibilities, maintaining effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and driven to improve processes and take initiative.
  • Capable of working under pressure and managing high workloads and deadlines.
  • Attentive listener with the ability to foster two-way dialogue and provide comprehensive support.


Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a customer support role.


Job Demands

  • Physical demands are considered to be that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. This position requires prolonged sitting, ability to utilize a computer and interactions with others’ meetings or via phone.
  • Travel required for company meetings 2-3 times per year.
