Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator position is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator performs within the Business Development & Marketing competency family, and requires a heavy focus on organizing and aiding in the successful execution of critical marketing activities to support Watchdog’s strategic business objectives and growth goals.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the Business Development & Marketing department.
  • Supports the implementation of critical marketing campaigns and strategies – this may include such tasks as assisting with digital marketing efforts, posting on social media, content development, preparing sales collateral, updating the company website, developing presentational materials, creating/updating proposals for new business opportunities, and other ad hoc administrative requests as needed.
  • Identifies and proposes new ideas to help promote awareness of the Watchdog brand.
  • Commits to learning about our business and our people – this includes pursuing the development of a confident knowledge of Watchdog’s wide breadth of service offerings, market sector reach, project history, areas of expertise, and strategic growth and expansion goals.
  • Represents the Watchdog culture, brand, and core values consistently and accurately throughout communications with internal and external points of contact.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with in-house business development team, service leaders, and other internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Fosters strong relationships with internal team members, and effectively leverage in-house resources and personnel to advance marketing efforts.


SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline preferred.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Proactive, professional communications style.
  • Strong writing, editing, & proofreading skills.
  • Excellent time management & prioritization skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
