As a Senior Financial Analyst, you are a key member of the finance organization that is focused on partnering with the business to drive decisions and operating performance. The position focuses on supporting operational leadership in achieving the strategic goals of the business unit.
The role will support business unit leadership through the analysis and presentation of financial information, with ownership of ensuring that the best available information is in the hands of key decision makers. This position will also support key strategic initiatives through the development, implementation and tracking of key performance indicators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the Manufacturing Finance leaders to drive cost efficient growth through business analysis, labor models, continuous improvement, and capital investments
- Lead reporting, forecasting and monthly planning process, including distribution of appropriate financial targets for conversion cost and proactive analysis of the financial statements for opportunities to increase income and/or cash
- Develops a monthly cost roll forward that drives insights to the team on material cost realization considering PPV, product mix, and steel guidance
- Primary liaison with corporate FP&A on Manufacturing finance reporting requirements on both an Actual and Forecast basis throughout the month
- Partner with Business Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Internal Audit on financial areas impacting the segment
- Lead analytical modeling of strategic CapEx projects
- Drive Working Capital Management and proactively identify areas for improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required
- 5+ years of progressive finance analysis, planning and profitability experience
- Strong technical acumen with a desire to learn and develop
- Exhibits strong time management skills; able to work through roadblocks to meet commitments
- Action-oriented professional with a take-charge, can-do attitude
- Experience in integrating data from disparate sources to create cohesive and insightful reports
- Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial and data analysis clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Financial modeling experience preferred
- Oracle and SQL experience is a plus
- Some travel is required
