Title: Senior Financial Accounting Analyst
Office Status: Hybrid 3x a week in office
Salary: Up to $110k Base + Bonus
We are partnered with a North Jersey Financial Organization seeking a Financial Analyst. This position is open purely because strong company performance in 2024. The Financial Analyst will join a 3 person FP&A team and report to the Head of FP&A. This department interacts with all different areas of the company including underwriting, actuarial, investments, reinsurance, etc).
You will be responsible for the coordination and development of the annual financial plan and related interim financial forecasts and building financial models. Additionally, this role provides support for management through ad hoc analysis and other various financial requests. The position will receive exposure to all areas of the company.
They are in the office 3 days a week and can earn a base up to 110K plus a bonus.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordination and development of the annual financial plan ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Executing the monthly financial forecasting processes ensuring timely and precise updates to financials
- Ensure the planning application (Oracle PBCS) is tested and operating at peak functionality
- Prepare annual Member credit calculations and ensure accuracy
- Prepare special analytical reports, and management reporting addressing key financial insights
- Manage and respond to ad hoc request from management
- Facilitate communication across divisions and within the Accounting division
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting given deadlines
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; graduate degree desired
- Practical knowledge of planning and financial modeling strategies
- Experience with data mining and analytical techniques
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with capacity to interpret financial data
