Position: Finance Coordinator

Location: Corning, NY.

We are seeking a Finance Coordinator to join a dynamic team with a global company specializing in innovative products and cutting-edge technology.

This is a direct hire role paying $20-$23.70/hr depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Involved in various roles within the Order to Cash (OTC) group to support billing, collections, order release, cash applications, and credit
• Utilize systems and tools to actively monitor accounts and take necessary action as the situation warrants
• Record customer interactions, both internal and external, within PeopleSoft and SAP to capture information details
• Collect customer financial information, historical payment trends and supply to our Credit Manager/Credit Analyst for use in determining appropriate risk on new and existing accounts
• Provide analysis of AR Data to OTC Management and participate in group projects as appropriate
• Work with business partners and customers, including customer service/commercial groups to support expectations
• Ensure all SOPs are complete, accurate and updated as needed

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree
• Problem solving, analytical skills and exceptional follow through
• Highly proficient with MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project Process
• Attention to detail and ability to abide by standard operating procedures
• SOX Compliance
• Previous skill in banking, invoicing and credit card processes
• Knowledge of Credit Management and Collections
