Role Overview



We are seeking a Tech Investment Associate to support investment activities in one of the most dynamic and high-growth sectors. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and assisting in the execution of investments in the TMT space, with a particular focus on emerging technology trends.



Key Responsibilities



Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the TMT sector, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Prepare industry reports and competitive analyses to inform investment strategies.


Financial Modeling and Valuation:

  • Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analyses.
  • Assist in valuing potential investments and portfolio companies.


Deal Execution:

  • Support the due diligence process, including reviewing financials, contracts, and market data.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, and operational advisors to facilitate deal closure.


Portfolio Monitoring:

  • Track the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies.
  • Prepare regular performance updates and investment reports for senior leadership.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support investment execution and portfolio management.


Qualifications


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; CFA or MBA preferred.


Professional Experience:

  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a relevant industry role.
  • Strong knowledge of the TMT sector, including emerging trends and key players.


Core Skills:

  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with TMT-related transactions or investments.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and their impact on media and telecommunications.
