Position Summary
The Business Manager will play a critical role in management of the global operations of an international reinsurance company and affiliates. The business manager will work closely with the President of the company by managing diverse aspects of the business including but not limited to treasury, accounts payable, financial and regulatory reporting, vendor management, board meeting coordination, and financial and regulatory reporting. The Business Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance across all entities with policies and regulations, while monitoring financial performance and supervising the budgeting processes.
Experience
BS/BA in Business, Actuarial Science or related degree, or equivalent experience
5+ years of insurance, reinsurance or finance experience
Must have one or more of the following:
Financial reporting
Statutory & GAAP Accounting
Detailed insurance/reinsurance regulation & structure
Actuarial principles and/or modeling
Investment concepts
Capital management
5+ years project management/project lead experience
Licenses and Certifications
PMP
FLMI

Working knowledge and/or practical experience of the reinsurance industry
Supervise budgeting processes and monitor financial performance metrics
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders on financial status
Ability to effectively target communications across diverse groups and influence a wide range of audiences, from individual contributors to senior leaders
