Role Description

This is a full-time in-person role as an Analyst at Genesis LLC in New York, NY. The Analyst will be responsible for analyzing commercial real estate loan transactions, financial modeling, designing deal structures, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze commercial real estate loan opportunities, including property valuation, financial statements, and market research.
• Create financial models for variety of property types.
• Support underwriting and structuring of loan transactions.
• Conduct due diligence.
• Assist in preparing and presenting investment memos for internal review and approval.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on real estate trends and local market conditions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate industry, preferably in lending or capital markets brokerage.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of real estate finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
