Position Overview: Seeking a driven and analytical Private Equity Associate to join a leading consumer technology investment team in San Francisco. The Associate will play a crucial role in the investment process, focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in the consumer tech sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and potential investment opportunities in the consumer technology space.
• Assist in the sourcing of new investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and proactive outreach.
• Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling, including LBO and valuation analyses, to assess potential investments.
• Participate in the due diligence process, reviewing financial statements, business plans, and operational metrics.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Support portfolio management efforts by working with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and report on portfolio performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
