Position Overview
Vendador’s strategic Sales and Outreach Specialist will promote our luxury private dining experiences. This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) with a focus on generating leads and fostering relationships across Chicago. Compensation is $25/hour.
Your primary responsibility is to expand our network, generate interest, and secure clients for Vendador’s private dining services. You will serve as a key hospitality ambassador of our brand, working to introduce our offerings to planners, venues, corporations, and other target clients.
Duties
- Lead Generation and Outreach
- Research and identify potential clients, including event planners, corporate offices, and venues.
- Initiate contact with potential clients through email, phone calls, social media, or in-person visits.
- Maintain a consistent outreach schedule to nurture relationships and increase brand awareness.
- Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain relationships with event planners, venue managers, and corporate decision-makers.
- Set up meetings and tastings to showcase Vendador’s luxury private dining services.
- Strategically follow up with prospects to keep Vendador top of mind.
- Corporate Catering Focus
- Target corporations in Chicago to secure weekly or recurring catering contracts.
- Communicate our unique ability to be tailored to the needs of corporate offices and high end executive dinners, emphasizing Vendador’s quality and consistency.
- Strategize alongside the Vendador team to hone our branding and marketing message for corporate offices based on the success and challenges of your outreach efforts.
- Vendor List Placement
- Work to get Vendador onto preferred vendor lists for relevant venues and planning companies within the luxury market.
- Meet with key industry players to solidify partnerships and recommendations within our target market
Data Management and Reporting
- Track outreach activities, leads, and follow-up actions in an organized manner on Monday.com
- Provide weekly updates to the Vendador Team on progress, challenges, and successes via call or email.
- Analyze outreach efforts and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.

Key Performance Goals for 2025
- Secure placement on at least 10 preferred vendor lists for high-profile venues or planning firms.
- Establish 2-4 recurring weekly corporate catering contracts in Chicago.
- Schedule 15+ introductory meetings with planners and venue managers in the first quarter of employment.
