Position Overview

Vendador’s strategic Sales and Outreach Specialist will promote our luxury private dining experiences. This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) with a focus on generating leads and fostering relationships across Chicago. Compensation is $25/hour.

Your primary responsibility is to expand our network, generate interest, and secure clients for Vendador’s private dining services. You will serve as a key hospitality ambassador of our brand, working to introduce our offerings to planners, venues, corporations, and other target clients.


Duties

  1. Lead Generation and Outreach
    1. Research and identify potential clients, including event planners, corporate offices, and venues.
    2. Initiate contact with potential clients through email, phone calls, social media, or in-person visits.
    3. Maintain a consistent outreach schedule to nurture relationships and increase brand awareness.
  2. Relationship Building
    1. Establish and maintain relationships with event planners, venue managers, and corporate decision-makers.
    2. Set up meetings and tastings to showcase Vendador’s luxury private dining services.
    3. Strategically follow up with prospects to keep Vendador top of mind.
  3. Corporate Catering Focus
    1. Target corporations in Chicago to secure weekly or recurring catering contracts.
    2. Communicate our unique ability to be tailored to the needs of corporate offices and high end executive dinners, emphasizing Vendador’s quality and consistency. 
    3. Strategize alongside the Vendador team to hone our branding and marketing message for corporate offices based on the success and challenges of your outreach efforts. 
  4. Vendor List Placement
    1. Work to get Vendador onto preferred vendor lists for relevant venues and planning companies within the luxury market.
    2. Meet with key industry players to solidify partnerships and recommendations within our target market

Data Management and Reporting

  1. Track outreach activities, leads, and follow-up actions in an organized manner on Monday.com
  2. Provide weekly updates to the Vendador Team on progress, challenges, and successes via call or email.
  3. Analyze outreach efforts and adjust strategies as needed for optimal results.

  • Goal-Driven: Meet quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings scheduled, and contracts secured.

Key Performance Goals for 2025

  1. Secure placement on at least 10 preferred vendor lists for high-profile venues or planning firms.
  2. Establish 2-4 recurring weekly corporate catering contracts in Chicago.
  3. Schedule 15+ introductory meetings with planners and venue managers in the first quarter of employment.
