Required Hands-on Experience:
- Machine Assembly: Building complex automated systems from drawings and verbal instructions
- Machine Shop: Operating and coordinating with basic shop equipment
- Vision Systems: Integrating sensors and camera systems for defect detection
- SolidWorks: Designing components from scratch through implementation
- Project Management: Coordinating machine builds from concept to completion
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and assembly of sophisticated punch press systems (30% design, 50% hands-on build)
- Manage machine component fabrication through internal toolroom and vendors
- Create comprehensive work instructions for assembled equipment
- Integrate vision systems and sensors for quality control
- Collaborate with global technical teams in design and implementation
