Role

We are seeking an Associate Director (Manager) to join our team on a full-time, in-office, basis. The core responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Perform and oversee comprehensive valuations for various purposes, including financial reporting, M&A transactions, tax compliance, litigation and strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage Excel skills in the design and preparation of complex financial models.
  • Manage multiple valuation projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to timelines, and alignment with client objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and represent the firm in business development activities.
  • Stay updated on valuation methodologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices in all deliverables.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including tax and transaction advisory, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.


Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in assurance, corporate finance and valuations.
  • Proficiency in valuation methodologies, including DCF, market approach, and asset-based approaches.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and relevant valuation software.
  • E xperience with valuation standards such as ASPE, IFRS, and US GAAP.
  • Completion of a CPA professional designation.
  • Completion of (or progression in) the CBV program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to problem solve or think outside the box.
  • Comfortable working with unstructured projects and timelines.
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Quick learner and self-starter; and, thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.


Compensation and Other Benefits

  • Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 competitive base salary commensurate with experience;
  • Variable compensation: Bonus based on firm and personal performance; and,
  • Health, dental and RRSP matching benefits.
