Job Description

Innospec LLC and Innospec Fuel Specialties has enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 20 years in North America and especially in Canada. To this end, we are adding an Account Manager to our dedicated Fuel Specialties team in Calgary, AB to ensure this growth continues.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans in existing accounts and in targeted prospective accounts to meet territory revenue and profit goals.
  • Support and grow existing $10MM/yr territory with aggressive targets.
  • Develop strong business supply relationships with key decision makers in current and targeted customer accounts
  • Work closely with account base and prospects to develop Innospec solutions together in a positive, professional environment.
  • Develop proposals, quotations and deliver presentations to customers and prospects to maintain and grow territory.
  • Provide periodic account reviews to ensure supply satisfaction, key performance indicators are met, and optimal performance is delivered.
  • Have understanding of Canada regulations relating to fuels (LCFS/CFS).
  • Actively sell and support Innospec innovations and technology to assigned customers and competitively held strategic accounts.
  • Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new programs.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry functions.
  • Plan sales and service activities proactively to ensure maximum return on time investment within territory. Maintain current customer contact database within company guidelines.
  • Conduct business within Innospec company policy and compliance requirements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelors required, BSCc or P.Eng. Preferred
  • Additional 6% of base salary for retirement planning purposes
  • 5+ years of successful technical or regulatory sales
  • Ability to negotiate and complete contracts with customers
  • History of delivering results with minimal supervision, self-starter, self-motivated
  • Prior experience in Oil & Gas industry, preferably downstream
  • Proficiency in computer-related tasks
  • Familiar with fuel additives
  • Up to 50% travel required: primarily within Canada
