About the Role

As Manager, Mortgage Advisors, you’ll play a key role in managing our growing team of Mortgage Advisors and working cross-functionally with every department at Pine. Reporting to the Group Lead, Mortgage Division, you’ll collaborate closely with Pine’s leadership team to build an outstanding advisory practice, drive originations, and scale our mortgage operations.


You’ll work hands-on with our team of professional advisors, coaching and supporting them to enhance the quality of their advisory services, reach targets, and continuously improve performance. In this growing FinTech environment, you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities, contributing to the establishment of internal practices and expanding our product offerings.


About the Team

As a Manager, Mortgage Advisors , you will report to the Group Lead, Mortgage Division and collaborate closely with Pine’s leadership team to bring your work to life. You will work with the Pine team to create an amazing advisory practice, increase originations, and scale mortgage operations. You will work closely with our team of professional advisors to increase the quality of their advice and hit their targets, through a combination of coaching and procedure development. As part of a growing FinTech, you will be able to take on additional responsibilities to establish internal practices to offer new product lines.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead our team of mortgage advisors who are on the front lines of our business supporting our clients
  • Cultivate a team culture that prioritizes accuracy, efficiency, and promptness in handling financial transactions.
  • Monitor team functions daily to ensure all service levels are met or exceeded.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, collaborating with managers, teams, and business units on initiatives relevant to mortgage operations.
  • Continuously observe mortgage advisor performance, optimize team efficiency, and provide training, support, and guidance as needed.
  • Measure, evaluate, and report on the performance of Pine’s operations, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and document processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and smooth execution of operations.


About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the mortgage industry.
  • 2+ years of proven management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a financial services environment, preferably within mortgage operations.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and technical skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously without daily supervision.
  • Proven adaptability and resilience in a dynamic, high-volume, high-intensity environment.
