Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Advisor Transition Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Transition Manager, this pivotal role is designed to assist new Wealth Planners in their transition process, support the Transition Manager in various tasks, monitor the progress of transitions, and address any questions or challenges that arise. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
As a member of the Advisor Transition Team, your role would entail:
- Assisting new Wealth Planners with onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition process.
- Supporting the Transition Manager with administrative tasks and coordination of transition activities.
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of transitions, ensuring milestones are met.
- Reviewing and validating transition-related documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Acting as a point of contact for new planners, promptly addressing their questions and concerns.
- Coordinating with various departments (Tax, Estate, Financial Planning, Insurance) to ensure the seamless setup of accounts and services for new planners.
- Evaluating information from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational standards.
- Following up on missing or incomplete documentation and providing progress updates to stakeholders.
- Preparing and completing necessary paperwork for account openings and other transition requirements.
Job Requirements:
Must-have:
- A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in a financial services or Wealth Management role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with core aspects of Wealth Management and investment account types.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full-time, in-person availability.
Nice-to-have:
- Progress towards or completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
- Experience in an Advisor support or transition role within the financial services sector.
