Reporting directly to the Chief Business Development Officer, the key responsibility of this position is to develop new business opportunities. This dynamic role is all about driving growth!
You'll contribute to the expansion of our Advisor base by showcasing Optimize’s innovative Advisor Platform using a collaborative sales approach to foster and grow new business opportunities. You'll not only support the team but also brainstorm strategies to supercharge overall sales and client base expansion. Plus, your insights and contributions during team meetings and strategic planning sessions will play a central role in shaping our firm's upward trajectory. Your role will entail:
- Prospecting new and existing leads by leveraging a dynamic database of contacts to build and expand on the foundation for relationships with prospective Advisors over the phone and virtually
- Performing follow up calls with engaged prospects to strengthen relationships and sustain sales momentum
- Utilizing the CRM system to ensure prospect data retrieved during phone calls is accurately populated and timely follow-ups are actioned
- Executing targeted business development strategies and tactics to acquire new business and penetrate new and existing markets
- Working within a team environment to meet and exceed company targets and objectives
Must-have:
- A minimum of 2 years' industry/sales experience
- Superior ability to host sales presentations and close deals
- A strong ability to Cold-Call
- A passion for sales and track record of success
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems
- Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines
Nice-to-have:
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Relevant work experience
