Our client in the Education space is actively seeking a Content Creator to support their platform development and site migration efforts. This role involves planning, creating, and refining web content to ensure brand alignment, audience engagement, and a seamless user experience. The Content Creator will collaborate with diverse teams to optimize messaging, adapt content based on feedback, and drive the success of web migration initiatives.
This is a 12-month contract, which requires the talent to work on a hybrid basis at our client's location in the west end of Toronto.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop user journeys, navigation, and page hierarchies.
- Conduct requirements gathering, workshops, interviews, and research to shape content.
- Review, adapt, and refine existing content; create new materials as needed.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to ensure cohesive experiences.
- Edit and integrate multimedia content while maintaining brand consistency.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, ITS, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in large, complex environments with 3+ years in web content creation.
- Strong skills in CMS platforms (Drupal 10, multisite, and Acquia preferred).
- Experience in agile workflows, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and multimedia editing tools.
- Expertise in content strategy, research, and audience engagement.
- Proficiency in visual design, branding, and communication.
- Higher education or public sector experience is a plus.
