About the Role:
Fitzrovia is seeking to hire a Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Social Media Manager to capture, edit and share engaging photo and video content across our social media platforms. Your work will help increase brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and drive traffic to our residential communities.
As a Content Creator, you will spend 50-80% of your time on-site at our rental communities and construction sites, producing authentic and engaging content that connects with our audience.

Note this is a full-time, in-office role, based at Fitzrovia's Head Office located at 2 St. Clair Ave W., Toronto, Ontario and will include 50-80% travelling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage content calendars with the support of the Social Media Manager.
• Independently plan, capture, edit, and share both photo and video content on various social media platforms using iPhone and DSLR cameras.
• Write creative copy that aligns with the tone of Fitzrovia’s brands.
• Actively engage consumers and followers who interact with our posts and stories on our social media platforms.
• Support with managing influencer outreach and collaborations.
• Monitor and adapt to emerging social media features and trends.
• Create new strategies and initiatives to boost followers and enhance engagement across all social media profiles.
• Promptly respond to DMs; route leasing leads, resident queries, and miscellaneous requests to the correct Fitzrovia team member.
• Oversee the organization of digital files, ensuring their integrity and easy accessibility for the Marketing team.
• Regularly work onsite to capture impromptu resident moments, resident events, construction activity, and special occasions.
• Assist with additional duties as directed by the Social Media Manager.
• Occasional weekend work may be required to ensure timely publication of scheduled stories and in-feed posts, including attending resident and social events to capture content.
Qualifications and Experiences:
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation, with the ability to independently produce exceptional content that enhances brand recognition and engagement.
• Expert at navigating key social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• DSLR videography and photography experience an asset.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across platforms and demonstrating quality content creation.
• Graphic design experience and proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe InDesign, Canva.
• Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or mobile editing apps like InShot, CapCut, etc.
• Strong creative/perfectionist eye for capturing appealing imagery and videography.
• A proactive and resourceful self-starter, able to tackle any challenge and balance ambitious goals effectively
• An enthusiastic individual eager to be featured on social media and lead interviews with Fitzrovia's team, residents, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
• Time management skills and an ability to deliver on target and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
• Analytically minded, a natural ability to distill insights and provide recommendations based on data and performance metrics.
• Detail oriented writer and proof-reader with an ability to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• A passion for working with people, with an approachable demeanor, positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a sociable personality
• Ability to travel to our properties located within the city of Toronto.
• Bilingualism (French) is an asset.
