Role Overview:
We’re looking for determined and self-driven Sales associates to recruit local food creators to join the Home Yum Partner network. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, is not afraid to make cold calls, can make a sales call conversational, loves meeting new people, and is ready to do whatever it takes to close deals.
What You’ll Do:
- Scout and connect with local food creators, including creators from shared kitchens, home chefs and bakers, who are not part of traditional restaurants. You will also be provided with leads time to time.
- Confidently pitch the benefits of Home Yum’s platform and explain how partnering can transform their business.
- Handle objections, think on your feet, and find creative ways to close deals.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for signed-up partners.
What You Bring:
- A go-getter attitude – you’re determined, resourceful, and never shy away from a challenge.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with anyone.
- Fluent in English; familiarity with Calgary’s local culture is a big plus.
- A natural hustler mindset – you’re willing to do whatever it takes to meet your goals.
- Sales experience is helpful, but determination and people skills matter most.
What You’ll Get:
- Performance-based pay: Earn based on the number of deals you close. This is a commission-based position, paying $50 for each food business you successfully sign up. No minimum or hourly pay.
